Growing up on soccer fields and with VHS tapes before the 90s tube television, Johannes gained his first experiences with analog photography and 8 mm film while still at school. After graduating from high school, he decided to pursue his passion with a Bachelor of Arts degree in "Motion Pictures". During his studies, he gained experience as a camera assistant and lighting technician in a film rental and in various productions. At the same time, he created his own camera work in advertising, short film and music videos. In the past, Johannes has done some award-winning work including filmed for brands like Lufthansa, Mercedes or Siemens. Today he loves more than ever to combine his passion for sport and moving images in visually powerful films, capturing intimate moments and human vulnerability.
